Well it seems that it was only a few weeks ago I reported that my Tumblr site had grown to 15,000 followers. Well since then it has grown to 16,000 followers.
I think this does show the gap between what the porn industry and many Dominatrices provide online and what submissive males actually like. My Tumblr site almost never features dungeons or warehouses or women in PVC or women in uncomfortable underwear or corsets. It mostly features women in comfortable clothing, albeit often sexy too. But nothing a woman would not wear in a vanilla situation. Women, often relaxing and focussing on what they get out of domination, not what the male might fantasise he wants.
Moving onto my second subject, I read that in the UK, in December I think, a law will be enforced requiring anyone who wants to view adult material online, to register with their ISP some serious form of identification such as passport data or a credit card. NO ID, no access to adult material. Obviously the prospect of a data breach of these ID databases would be horrific.
My question is what constitutes adult material? All Tumblr sites or some Tumblr sites? This blog? How do the ISP providers identify what is adult material? It all seems rather impractical so will it in fact just be the famous video sites like Pornhub that get blocked and perhaps the sites of Dominatrices? Or did I read the news item on April Fool’s day and not make the connection??

Few notice it, but the governments of many Countries, starting with the U.S.A. are slowly turning the screw on us, limiting our freedom with the noble excuse of terrorism, child porn and sex workers… Slowly we are getting into the situation perfectly and objectively described in that rarely seen movie, “V for Vendetta”, but I don’t know if the optimistic finale of the film will correspond to reality.
People today are only worried about football games and as long as they’ll be permitted, the governments will be able to take away any kind of liberty, without popular protests or revolts.
So, we either accept being repressed in all things of everyday’s life, included our sex preferences, or wear a mask and begin to kick those assholes in their asses, sending them crawling to the sewers where they came from. (Please forgive me the vulgarity.)
So are you saying: in the UK, this is coming in for certain, during 2018? Can you refer me to your evidence for this please.
I’m shocked, this really sounds too absurd to be true! I’m not even sure what this is supposed to be doing. All illegal content will not abide by the law and everything legal has no reason to be monitored in this manner.
Kids will more than likely find easy loopholes anyway, but even if it would make it harder for kids to watch porno, I’d dare say it’s not worth the price to pay.
Their logic seems to be that: if you have nothing to hide, there is no reason not to abide and give up your privacy. Which is the most shortsighted and backward reasoning one could imagine.
It was due to come into force this month but the government realised it had no idea how to implement and has delayed until ‘later in the year

It makes no sense for its intended purpose and as another poster suggested many people see it as a test case for mass online censorship. This blog would probably be fine due to minimal image hosting. Tumblr, twitter, reddit etc no-one knows since they’re not solely used for porn and the only way to block the porn is to block the whole thing.
A consequence of having tech illiterate legislators taking advice from possibly tech literate advisors with unknown objectives of their own.
